I'm starting my debate now and by april I'll have to make the final decision.
What is the debate you ask?
Either move to San Diego on my own in july/august without my friend who was suppose to come with me.
Or
Take a trip to Europe and check the scene out for a while.

Depends on what I wanna do here in Minneapolis and the strength of the dollar's exchange rate.
I've got no idea what I really want to do, i just know that this year is my year of change, whatever that entails I have yet to figure out.
Sometimes I wish all my possesions would just burn up save for my computer which has all my memories and the soundtrack to my life on it. That way I would be free to just roam without the massive amount of crap I have amassed over the years. It'd be fun to have the insurance money to just travel and figure myself out without having all the cumbersome belongings to haul around with me.
Just have a suitcase of clothes and my computer and that is all i would need.
Its a nice fantasy but I've spent so much time collecting a huge dvd, record, book, screenprint, action figure cache. None of which is necessary but I would still miss it for some strange reason if I just gave it away or sold it.
I soooo love being a product of the material american dream. This is why people aren't vagabonds of choice anymore, we get bogged down with what we own. Wish I had the courage to just throw it all in the trash and disappear to whereever i choose at the moment.
I long to have youthful Bukowskian adventures.
Maybe I can get my ass psyched up enough someday to just give it all away
