I'm sitting here listening to Wilson Pickett's greatest hits on vinyl, half staring out the window because its again fucking freezing out( way too early for this)
I don't have any clue as to why I live in Minneapolis.... the summertime is great but the onset of the bitter cold stupid snowy winters make me question my motives for being here.
I think maybe after my lease is up next August its time to pull a "beverly hillbillies" and move to a warmer climate.
Anyway i'm sitting here typing this out on my new macbook pro that I just had to buy, well didn't have to, but my Ibook was getting old, couldn't handle my photos and music that well anymore. And i actually got this sucker as a closeout and saved myself half the fucking price, how is that for luck...
So even though my old ibook is almost 5 years old, after I cleared most everything off it I'm gonna be a really nice older brother and send it as a gift to my little bro and his wife so they have somewhere to store pictures of my new nephew on.
I doubt it will be appreciated, he'll probably just sell it because thats just what he does but still hopefully his wife will keep him in check.
Bah i hate the middle of october today.
I want to time warp one month ahead. I know I'm gonna be happy then. Not that I'm not happy now but this weather mixed with boredom and loneliness is got me down this afternoon.
In one month Tez will be here and I'll be having tons of fun.
Atleast I've got movie night wednesday to look forward to. Then a drive to Des Moines for a wedding. Oh thats right, I won tickets to the Get Up Kids next Tuesday, thats pretty sweet since I've never ever won a contest in my life, hell, i've never even been lucky enough to find more than 5 dollars on the ground. And I wanted to go to the Get Up Kids show but the tickets were a bit too pricey for me to buy. Good thing I don't have to now.
