I totally wussed out today, I had class at 10:30am but I stayed in bed. Why? Because it was whopping miserable 18 below zero outside and that was before the windchill factor. With windchill it was a butt-numbing 32 below zero. So i stayed in bed and watched CNN talk about John Edwards dropping out of the presidential race and the tanking stock market all the while making terrible jokes and acting more like your dumbass friends talking about the news than reporters reporting the news. I'm going to cancel my cable one of these days and when the operator asks me why, that will be my reason, well that and the fact I'm paying for 5 home shopping channels to try and sell me shit that I don't need or would break in a week. I'm sad I skipped my painting class but my acrylics would have frozen before I would have been able to get half way to the Uni and then my paints would have been pigmented cottage cheese.
So I'm sitting at home trying to see out my ice covered windows listening to Nada Surf. I've gotta venture out into the wide open meat locker later to go to work. I wonder how many morons will actually shamble outside tonight to see a movie. I wouldn't leave the flat if I didn't have to chase a paycheck. I wouldn't pay to freeze my berries off. Hopefully no one shows up so I can close the place after the last round instead of staying until all the movies are over with since I have class tomorrow and I will force myself to freeze.
I'm excited we are showing the new Troma movie "Poultrygeist" in a few weeks. I guess Lloyd Kaufman is going to be making an appearance at our theater. Should be fun I think.
