Hey everyone! I know I haven't said much lately, but there has been so much going on. I have two children (technically step children, but I don't see them that way) that are really struggling in life. In the short years that they have been alive they have experienced more than any person should ever have to. The 7 year old is having a lot of behavioral issues that we are trying to get to the bottom of-he has anger outbursts and full on tantrums where he hurts himself. He has also lashed out at our puppy and his brothers, and even me. My 9 year old is special needs and requires a lot of patience and understanding, which is hard because we all think logically and he simply doesn't. We are all still learning in that aspect. After 3 years of waiting, the VA finally had my hearing for my appeal to receive 100 percent disability. My health has been shit. Migraines worse each day, jaw too, with no relief because "narcotics don't treat migraines long term." I have really bad acid reflux and anxiety, which has apparently caused my throat to spasm. Yeah, that's a real thing. It is extremely frustrating and uncomfortable. I have a hard time swallowing and I feel like there is food constantly stuck in my throat. I constantly have a sore throat, which sucks also. Pretty much anything aggravates it, so that's great. I have a bunch of appointments the rest of the month to see what is going on with it.
