Whatever happened to questioning?

Let me start out with this.
I am not anti-government
I am not anti-law enforcement
While I disagree with a lot of people in power it is far more just me playing devils advocate.
but seriously what happened to the day and age when people questioned things?
A day long sense gone.

The american people as a whole are sheep.
Easily lead in one direction or another.
Following blindly to whatever authority figure is speaking at the time.
I'm not telling people to buy into every crack pot conspiracy theory
In fact i'm not telling you anything.
Simply asking "Why not question?"

I just see so many things get passed or handed down as laws and the people shrug and then abide.
So many things said by higher archy's and it is taken as though your messiah him(her) self said it directly to you.

So why not question.
-Whether its the laws you live by ( have you seriously ever read the laws of your state? )
-The laws of your church or religion ( though for most religions these change )
-weather its Rex-84. Seriously people how do you not know we have concentration camps in the united states. How do you not know we have them in almost every state???????????????
-Whether its questioning why Leonard Peltier is still in prison
-Whether its why freedom is still so far away. ( we are a freer country then others but do not dare be as naive to think we are a free country. )

Your pastor, police chief, school dean, congressman, president is not god.
and even if they where how would you know?
