for some of us the American Dream happened, IE: nice house, great job, wife kids and a life within society that is positive and constructive

then there is those of who it did not happen for
divorce
single parenthood
drugs and alcohol
punk rock and fucked up value systems
cheaters and liars for friends

we all think that we have a chance, that we have options beyond our current realities
most of you do, do your thing and make the most of it and never look back dude

then there is of of those who just didn't make it
we did our best to play into the deal but couldn't fucking make it for whatever reason
we are broken and eternally fucked
we try, and tried to be cool, decent, loved
but it just didn't happen
like fucking game over dude your too old and you lost
