Yes yes I know it's been a while and I don't really have an excuse as I've really had nothing to do the last month besides look for apartments in toronto via internet. Of course I have no clue where to get the funding for it as my bank is being quite slow in processing my loan application. Luckily my school tuition is paid but everything else is not.
Here's a shot in the dark question for you folks. Anyone have any thoughts on the new Photoshop CS4? Do you think it's worth upgrading? I'm undecided on whether I want to upgrade or not. I do get the student price and I do use my Photoshop copies but still anything really worthwhile?
I need to find some extra cash to upgrade my computer as it seems having a non-intel mac is starting to hurt me. Seems most programs are going the way of being intel only or near intel only. Also it doesn't help that something inside my computer is slowly burning up (yet I can't find what) and that it over heats if it's been on for more then a couple of hours.
On a positive note my days have been brightened by the wonderful folks over at the SG Depression group (like Marvel) with their SG message exchange. I hope my messages had the same effect.
Other then that not much has been happening. I'm getting desperate to move so I get "my new life" all setup.

Can't ever pass up an excuse to upgrade hardware, but have you checked that all of your internal fans are working properly? I have a box of aluminum stick on heatsink fans that I've used to cool chipsets or replace chipset fans. Looked for the manufactuer but it isn't obvious at the moment. Anyway that's helped with a couple semi-unstable systems.
