The other night I had the most discussion with my Dad. Or I would like to say that it was a discussion. Mainly it was my Dad telling me all of the reasons that Canada shouldn't be a separate country from the US. That Canada should be "just our 51st state or something because it's not that they have any reason to be different."
WTF
Seriously I don't know what brought that on. Usually my Dad is a pretty cool guy, even when he's a little toasty. Maybe he was a little too alcohol-ifed. But seriously I have no urges to suddenly give up my US citizenship but I do think Canada is a rocking "little" country and has a the full right to be a country. I guess I'm still shocked at the utter bullshit that gets thrown Canada's way. I mean from living in both countries I can say they both have their positive things and their negatives.
Anyways that's all I'm going to say on the subject.
On the positive side of things I found a really rocking album that is Emily Haines' (of Metric) solo album on Oink. It's different but good. Which if anyone wants an invite I have a couple spares. Just send me a message if you want one.
School restarts for me in nine days and I've already started getting really creepy nightmares. See for something like the past five or six years I've always started getting nightmares up to a month before the start of the school year. I got them in middle school, I got them in high school, and I still get them in university. The only good news is usually after the first week of school they go away.
Oh yeah and I'm still eyeing Toronto like the pretty girl at the party that I have no chance with but still end up stammering out some awkward small talk with. So if anyone has some tips, suggestions, general feelings about where to find schooling, a job, and or a place to live feel free to leave them.

Canada seems cool to me though. They have lots going for them that this country doesn't.
Plus, the girls in Windsor are FUCKING HOT!
I am at the point in my life where I dunno what is gonna go on either.
Life throws you crazy curve balls sometimes.....
