I think my hippie/stoner friends just turned me into a republican.
Yesterday was complete and utter crap. I'm still pulling the knives out of my back.
So here's the story for all of you who care. So my now ex-friend Tom's birthday is in a day or two me and another friend decided to plan this little find a couple of boxes around town with your birthday presents in it game. Tom was psyched to do this the day before but ended up being a bastard and a half. My friend, who when I picked her up yesterday was already stoned and being kind of nasty when we were setting up this event didn't help either. On top of this I ended up having to fund the whole thing since my friend went from saying she would pay for half of his present to saying "oh I'll pay for what I can" meaning not a fucking dime. To make matters worse at the final box with my friend Tom's "special surprise" I ended up having to walk around in circles since I was waiting at the car to pick them up and the other's stoned off their minds and being pretty much assholes kept on calling saying hey pick us up here then 5 minutes later oh pick us up over here then saying oh come walk over here because we're having fun and I don't care that you're half way to the other spot we told you to pick us up and now we're telling you to come to some vague spot in the woods and have no place to park only to end up calling me a third time as I've found a spot walked half a mile down a road and more distance into the woods in the dark only to tell me oh we're coming back please pick us up here.
Of course we were using my $500 GPS unit for this whole thing which they "forgot" to leave in my car when I dropped them off.
Yeah "friends" screwing me over when I try and do something nice...story of my life.
Though there is a bright point to my story.
So after dropping them off I head to my favorite coffee shop, The Ugly Mug where the girl taking my order after hearing from me that it had been a very long day and night some how made me feel better in the few nice words she said.
It's funny I spend $160 and three days planning I get treated like shit. I spend $5 and 5 minutes talking to a girl and I get treated like a decent human being.
Today was filled with plenty of stupid people too but I don't give enough of a shit to really tell a story about them.
Anyways kids I'm alive and ticking.
Oh and weasley we still need to hang out...because you and your friends have to be more fun to hang out with then mine. Plus I miss Canada.
