Does anyone out there own there own online retail business?? If so I want to pick your brain!!

I've always liked the idea of having my own store. I thought maybe starting out with a "virtual" store front would be more realistic. But I honestly, have no idea what this would take!?!

Anyone who can point me in the right direction and/or offer some advice and knowledge??
