My bro's moving to NYC. That' calls for a roadtrip. Who wants to fly when you can get a car (in this case for free by chance) and drive across this great land, meet people, go to places you've never been to, and see how beautiful this land is. I'm only going as far as Santa Fe, NM with him, then I fly back to SF and go back to work. But we'll be taking a nice 6 days to do that.
We'll be staying off the interstate as much as possible, going through the middle of Nevada, possibly on the Extraterrestrial Highway, to Caliente, NV. Then to Arches Nat'l Park in Utah, and stay with friends of friends in Ouray, CO. I hear you can't drink much at 8000 feet, i.e. you're drunk after 2 drinks. Then it's to Santa Fe.\
He'll then continue to Ada, OK, up the Mississippi to Chicago, and then back over to NYC. Then he starts art school in a Master of Fine Arts Photography program at SVA in Manhattan. I'm really excited for him- both for school and for NYC.
Anyway, he's running around like a chicken with his head off packing and boxing and throwing things out. I'll do as much as I can. Hope we can get out the door by 9pm tonight.
