So far this year has been great for new music. New Astronautlis ep (full record coming in May,) Killswitch Engage record, POS single, Brian Fallon's solo record, The Dewtons finally released their Kill Bozy record that they recorded a few years ago..

These guys/ lady are from Grand Rapids and I've been seeing their name for a little while (they started playing shows in late 2014, so not too long) and I finally checked them out. Was totally blown away, though I blew a chance to see them this last weekend with Break Anchor. I'll see them in May when they play a show with The Raging Nathans, Slow Death, Ray Bottlerocket and The Copyrights.

The Svetlanas are pretty amazing. I love when foreign bands sing in English and manage to pull off incredible puns with this music. Add the amazingness of the music and their singer's vocals and I'm in love.

last one for the moment, these guys are part of reason I'm super stoked to go to Ottawa in May. One of my friends suggested I look up The Creeps because I was into Crusades and they share members. Bought their discography for like $18 and fell in love.
