i wonder what the hell i was trying to post with that last empty post i did. some sort of drunken ramble no doubt
anyway, a quick shot of what's going on in my life at the moment.
1. i'm completely single for the first time in 6 years. last year we broke up but then because we broke up on good terms would end up hanging out and one thing would lead to another and... then last december we actually started dating again, though it was never fully put out there as such. we ended on good terms again but decided that this time we can't stay friends, too many feelings and memories. a bit of a bum out when it finally ended but i think we'll probably both be happier, i mean she moved on already so i'm guessing she must be
2. school starts in just over a week. i'm excited about that
3. i'm buying a new laptop this friday, also excited about that
4. my dad has been in the hostipal for a week or so. he should be home tomorrow so that's good
5. i'm going to see the dark knight tonight finally (i know i'm a horrible comic book nerd... the shame, the shame)
6. i'm going to flordia in 3 weeks to visit my grandparents and we are staying in a time share they have on fort meyers beach. hopefully there won't be any big stupid storms going on then. my sisters are going for that trip too.
7. my roommate who has been one of my best friends for years and was dating my little sister (he's 10 years older than her) finally got fed up and broke up with her. that should lead for some interesting family issues at some point.
8. i still can't stop listening to the new gaslight anthem album, though after reading something about a Chamberlain album from 98 i got my hands on it and its out of control amazing. totally where bands like gaslight and the hold steady got the general sound from.
8. i tried adding a video from youtube to this but couldn't figure out how to get it to work. maybe that'll be something i learn how to do in school
9. i started reading books by Daniel H. Wilson and i can't stop. funny and intelligent books and i'm actually learning a little bit.
