Since joining SG, I have become a devoted fan of several photographers. Listing them means that I will, inadvertently leave some out. But, not listing them ensures that none gets the recognition they deserve. being able to self advocate and choose how to represent yourself...includes being able to review sets and other content, and seeing which photographers do well, have positive feedback from members and other girls, and to curate content that looks good and does well. SG already knows what photography styles they like - they're pretty consistent in what they buy. So that button doesn't really help SG. Girls may not find the process AS straight forward, but there are definitely tools in place. There are photographer feedback threads, and also - you can look through the sets of the day to see what is being bought, you can talk to friends and local girls to see who they like working with, you can view the SG instagram and see what they are posting. There are tools other than that as well. The reality is that a lot of girls don't do that legwork. They don't check those places, or they don't care or think whoever they're working with will be fine anyway. Or, a lot of girls come in from instagram and submit sets without bothering to look at things on the site and learn about it. Those people are unlikely to be affected by additional analytics they likely wouldn't use anyway.
