Two of my favorite people, @HARVEST, & @VANP had sets go up, within hours of each other. When you check them out, you won't need me to tell you how beautiful they are. I would like to say that each of these ladies have touched my life, deeply; & become my friends, on an order I never considered possible, in this world of pixels, & electrical impulses. Many of you may not know that I was forced into retirement ten years ago, due to major depression. That I recently had a breakthrough, & am beginning to climb out of my "slough of despond" is, in no small part, because of the friends I have made here. Realizing that I am bound to leave some out, inadvertently, I would like to make mention of some of the SG friends, I'm so thankful for.
I begin with some male friends, since a lot of people think, guys only come on here for the girls. (mostly true) Their are some men who I consider to be gentlemen & scholars: First of all, possibly the most beloved male on the site, @THEKARMAGUY. Another Canadian & all around good guy, @BIG_VOLTS. My wonderful friend, @ZEMPAGE. A man whose writings I look forward to, the eloquent @JEZZIED. My musician friend @DEEDARK. A man whose command of English is much better than mine, which became impressive, when I learned, English is not his first language @ELIZATHETROLL. My friend & fellow New Yorker, @FREAKME. The man whose daily quotes give me a reason to get up, my favorite Mud Hens fan, @THEATOMBOMB. And, a truly gracious man, @GNARLSBCH.
While Harvest has put me in mind of the Aussies, I should mention, the recently pink @PUGSIE, who has been unfailing in her kindness to me. My higher power is, her hotitude, @SOULTRY. My soul coach is @USER8992. My inspiration comes from my 3 Russian muses - @IVYLINA, @ANOUKEVIL, & @MAGNEA. I put my faith in the holy trinity of Co. goddesses @LO_, @FLEETWOOD, & @LEXTHETREX.
My French goddess is @AZAZEL, & I also adore @DEBBY, @MONIQUE420, & @MIYUMIYU. I'll never forget how thrilled I was, when the Portuguese goddess @KAWAII_ started following me. I also love her countrywoman @AINOA, one of the nicest people on the planet. While I am in Europe I must offer tribute to the most beautiful Italian since Sophia Loren, my dear friend @ZENIT. I would be remiss, if I didn't mention Belgium's fairest flower @TCHIP (a.k.a. Yip)
My 3 Canadian goddesses are @KEZIA, @CATTLEYA, & that irrepressible Polish dancer @IAMAWILDUNICORN!
I should mention two beautiful friends whose sets recently went into review, @MIDNIGHTSUN, & @SINOPA.
I have found that the lovely @CESSIE is considerably more badass than she appears. The gorgeous @JIMISIN is one of my favorites. @NEBULA reminds me of "noble", which is what she is, in every respect. The hottest thing to come out of Louisiana since Tobasco is my dear friend @FRESA, (with her knight errant, @YOURIMMORTAL ) My favorite Red Sox fan (there being no others) is the beautiful & gentle nurse, @BENSON. My Jersey girls are @KRISTYRABIES, & @KPAX. My latest Latina crush is the radiant @KIKET. (her debut is up, now) My favorite new friend is the wondrous @OSIRUSS. On a serious note, I must add that the luminous, @HARA has written a memorial tribute to, the late E_NIGMA, which is one of the most beautiful things I've ever read!
I would not be active on the site at all, if not for the inspiration of @LILYMAI. And finally, the reason I joined, the most beautiful woman I ever saw, is @ZEPHI. She played a part in convincing me to go on living.
As I write, I wonder at the friends I have here! Each of you has been part of my healing, & I am eternally grateful!
