I have been inspired by some of our French members, especially lovely @LYAMOON, & the delectable @AZAZEL to learn the French language. There are 2 reasons why I have failed, utterly: 1. I have c.r.s. disease. I can't remember words I already know, let alone, new ones! 2. French is a beautiful, subtle language in which whole syllables go unpronounced, with the result that I can (& have) sounded out a French word by the hour, & never discover where I went wrong.
My point is that, there are a lot of amazing people here, who make me want to enter their world, & learn about what they're interested in! This really is so much more than a nudie site.
One group I have developed a Nation-crush on is the Australians! And, even though we are separated by a common language, I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know several of them. What really impresses me is the way they support each other. Why don't we all take a page out of their book, & support the amazing people we meet here?
