I read a blog post today from a beautiful girl who shared that she feels at home here - a lovely thought! It is also a sharp critique of the fact that many of us can't really feel at home in most places, like in our own homes, for instance! So few of us get the love & acceptance we need, in this world of ours. I think of that whenever I log onto SG
You SGs & hopefuls are all Queen of the Prom to me! (or whatever the equivalent is, in your Country) You are what this is all about, and you are all SPECTACULAR. The nerds in the corner (like ME) never imagine that you need affirmation from the likes of us! Yet, life experience tells me that some of you have never been told you are beautiful, or been allowed to feel beautiful. Some of you have been abused by people you trusted. Some of you are facing problems or sadness that you fear will crush you.
I never felt like I fit anywhere; but I am coming to see that my talent is appreciating the talents of others! That's why I'm here to tell you: You really are beautiful. You really are SPECIAL. And you will WIN the battle that seems to be consuming you right now.- <33333333333
