i go on a lot of first dates.
i've never really minded it - a girl does enjoy having options - but lately it's been getting me down. i down on the idea that these guys either aren't worth a second date or aren't interested after the first.
last night, i was on the ever elusive second date, though. and it was fabulous. but now of course my girl brain kicks in and i'm pretty much convinced that he's not nearly as eager for a third date as he was for the second. ...peachy.
the novelty of playing the field has really worn off. i'd like to stop now.

First dates are great but I do understand that 2nd one being nothing more than empty promises more often than not. A guy would have to be foolish not to follow up the chance to go out with you though.
