thought we had found a new lead guitar but he only played well with what he knew...so he seemed good at his audition and kept up with us just by watching Josh's hands...basicly it was a case of what Josh refers to as "the curse of tabature" guy was decent but didnt know what a penatonic scale was or base chords. hell I cant play guitar well to save my life this but I at least know what the guys are talking about whene they say hey lets do this with that and change this to this and I can follow and adjust my voice. so basicly after one practice He realized he was with a different class of musician. we are all profesionaly trained musicians he can play songs he knows. so he gracefully stepped out and hopes we might have a spot for him whene he gets more musical knowledge..well I guess on the brightside if nothing else good comes out of it at least we encouraged someone to learn thiere instrument better and with no hard feelings.
