I had a dream about John McCain last night. He called me fat. I got in his face and screamed, "FUCK YOU, McCain! FUCK! YOU! YOU DON'T GET TO TALK TO PEOPLE LIKE THAT!"
1) The WotLK beta servers all went offline yesterday, presumably because it was patch day and we've been expecting a new build for some time.
2) I have to write a 6-page paper on Hegel's Phenomenology of Spirit as well as a 3-page analysis of Book IV of Herodotus' Histories today, both due tomorrow.
It's more limited by expense and personal taste (and my low skill level in the kitchen) than by choice. Nick and I are dedicated omnivores and would easier give up alcohol than meat.
Yeah, I'm excited for everyone to come back. If nothing else, I find I enjoy playing a lot more when there's just general conversation going on in guild. It breaks up the monotony, if nothing else.
Some discussion over at the Penny Arcade forums has led me to purchase "Duel of the Fates," the epic jedi knight lightsaber tour de force (no pun intended) from Episode I. It could possibly be the only good thing to ever come out of the prequels. I can't stop listening to it and pretending I'm a jedi in my head.
I bought a bunch of Stella Artois because someone recommended it if I liked Heineken, and after finishing the 12-pack over the course of about a month (I'm a very light drinker), I found a left over Heineken in my fridge.
Everything for PAX is finalized. Train ticket there, badge for the 3-day expo, plane ticket back, staying with a guy named Jon via couchsurfing.com. I'm excited. Here's a list of things I've already committed to doing while I'm there:
