You know, I'm tirelessly on people's team sometimes. I say hello enthusiastically. I root for them. I cheer them up when they're feeling down. I listen to their problems. I offer advice as best I can. I spend time with them. I laugh with them when they're laughing. I thoroughly enjoy their company. I'm a very good friend to have, and I don't do this shit because I expect anything in return. I do this shit because I enjoy having friends, and because by my definition, that's what friends do.

And it really disappoints and bugs me when I see someone who's enjoyed my friendship, through times when they were up and when they were down, be very quick to dismiss it, and me, just because I said something they happened to disagree with. That happened tonight, and I don't mind telling you that I was a little bit hurt. It sucked. Not a lot, and it's nothing that I won't get over, but it was definitely a bummer.
