So, here's one of the reasons why I love Apple:

My iMac has been freaking out for the past month or so. Weird shit. Orange pixels in weird diagonal lines on my desktop, random lines/patches of color/weird graphical shit popping up all over the place, crashes whenever I try to do anything visual, hangs during startup and requires multiple reboots, etc. It's fucked. First problem in almost 3 years, but a big problem. I think it's the video card.

But I really don't want to unhook a 24" iMac and drag it 20 miles to the Apple store, so I've just been putting it off.

So finally, today, was the last straw. I'm listening to music in the shower and my iMac freezes. No music in the shower. I get on Apple's website, input the problem, and select their little "call me right now" option. A few seconds later, my phone rings.

20 minutes later I have an appointment in three days for someone to come to my house and install a new logic board and video card. IN MY HOUSE.

What kind of beer do you think Apple technicians like?
