Anyone with a Mac and an X-Box 360 needs to check out the following program:

Using this program you can very easily stream all the music, videos, and photos on your Mac and any connected media (hard drives) to your X-Box 360, via wireless or wired network. There's a free trial for download, and after you use it you'll want to upgrade immediately to the full version. The entire thing works perfectly and discreetly. The program is operated by a very simple preferences pane window - select the sources for music, photos, and videos, click the "share" button, and that's it. Really. You go over to the media tab on your X-Box dashboard, select the computer you want, and bam. It's all there. Almost every file format is supported. It's very fast. Even on 30 minute, high-resolution video clips it rarely has to buffer.

So I have my 24" iMac on my desk in my office, and my X-Box 360 in the living room, and now I have effortless, wireless access to all my media in the living room, on my excellent home theater system.

Watching the Diablo III gameplay trailer in high definition on my television with surround sound is... awesome.
