So, I went from walking out on Wanted because it was so bad to crying my eyes out at WALL-E because it's so good.
My new motto is... Pixar: Suspiciously Good.
Pixar is up to something. Every movie they've made has gotten progressively better, and WALL-E is too good. Within five minutes of that movie I was completely invested. I was hooked. The next movie is going to get half-way through, then John Lasserter and Brad Bird are going to come on screen and command me to shoot the president... and I'm going to do it, because that's how much Pixar controls my emotions. I'm powerless. I'm a puppet. Pixar is my master.

Yeah... time to get a new profile pic...
But, the graphics...and the storyline were what drew me into Gears.
I was actually shocked to find that the "script" was written by a woman because it's got that gut-wrenching full-metal jacket feel...but it really is too short.
When you get to chapter 4 you expect 4 more chapters that aren't there.
But, they're good.
And, it really shines in multiplayer...and the second one is adding more maps and games...so, it's only going to get better.
Plus it looks like they've made some great changes to the way unreal renders the graphics...thoes are getting better too.
