I haven't laughed this hard in a long, long time.

Utterly defeated. Good game, video. You win.

"Morals shouldn't stop just because it's politically inconvenient for them to continue."

Keith Olbermann. And as much as I think he's a windbag, just like there are windbags on the right, at least he's a windbag that says elegant things.
rk:
Heh, I feel guilty whenever I agree with Olbermann, because I feel like I'm being an extremist nut and I dislike extreme right wing nuts so much I wonder if I'm becoming a different version of what I don't like.

In my efforts to finish my script, as well as adapt one that I've been thinking about into a one-act for my drama class, I've been reading scripts lately. I just finished the screenplay for American Beauty. There are some differences between the page and the final movie, but not very many. For the most part it's identical. And it's amazing. It's an amazing, touching...

I don't come into chat much anymore. I was made to feel entirely unwelcome. Maybe I'll make a video of me just swearing.

its going...but it's pretty rough in there :/

So, MirandaPanda had me play some No Doubt in chat earlier today, and it turned into me DJing for chat for a few hours. It was a lot of fun. I think I'm going to do it tomorrow, see if I can get more people to listen.

Thanks Miranda! lol.

WOO! $800 tax refund. I didn't think I was going to get much this year, but cashing out my 401(k) early and a lifetime learning credit seemed to think otherwise.

Guess what's funding my trip to PAX this year?

Speaking of PAX, who else is going?
saira:
Hooray $800! I propose you go out and buy yourself some chewy sweet tarts. Gotta be chewy. They'll change your life.
mccallister:
Nice refund!

Just e-mailed the ex for the first time and asked her how she's going. It's good to be the bigger person, right?

Glad I'm not the only one...I rarely complain about format changes but this one actually bugs me. And I guess I wouldn't exactly call it boy "trouble"... maybe we'll just call it inconvenience...because ultimately I've been having fun with the whole thing...

hummm...emailing the ex...you were the one who broke it off right? Although it's nice of you to be the bigger person and you have good intentions about checking in on her, don't be surprised if she doesn't respond. she may find you checking up with her patronizing, especially if she's bitter about the whole thing. Sometimes you have to let sleeping dogs lie and after more time has passed the lines of communication can be opened if anyone still has an interest.
dhd_no_pants:
I wouldn't know, haha.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I know doing this is the best thing for him, even if right now I'd gladly sell him to the circus for a cigarette.

Does it bother anyone else when someone brings up scripture as a way of telling some kind of story, or constructing some kind of metaphor, and then says, "Remember that?" Like it's already established that everyone has read the bible and understands what they're talking about?

It bugs the hell out of me.

I'm going to start making Dune references in class and assuming that...

Sunshine's new set is amazing. It's a breath of fresh air and a wonderful reminder of why I joined this site in the first place. Go check it out.

In other news, things are... uh... okay. It's been about a month since my girlfriend and I parted ways, and I'm slowly adjusting to life without a significant other. There are days where I crave contact,...

We just beat it after a 6 hour marathon. It wasn't as funny as the last one, and not nearly as hard. But it's still enjoyable for its Penny Arcadeness.

Hanging in there. We're in that back-and-forth phase, but at last some resolution: we can be friends. We are good at that, and maybe that'll lead us in one direction or another. At least we can both finally relax. How are you holding up (besides obviously what you wrote^^)

24 years old today. I have day one of a two-day symbolic logic exam, and it's going to suck a lot.

Send good vibes my way.

I just took apart my bathroom sink to fix a big clog and successfully put it back together again. I feel like a man.

Watchmen has floored me. It's getting 65%/42% from top critics on Rotten Tomatoes, and I honestly don't understand how anyone could dislike that movie enough to give it a negative review. Some of the music choices were a little obvious, the...

I haven't actually heard any bad things about that movie. In theory I'll go see it, but I so rarely go to the movies. It would be a good one.
