Half-way through Act 1 today. I can see how doing this for a living would be really difficult. I almost hit my best friend during an argument over whether we should use the word "the" or the word "a." It lasted way longer than you think it did.
I'm on fire! Played 36 holes of miniature golf tonight and shot a 3 over par. That's like... a real golf score. It's not real golf, but y'know. Still. I felt pretty good.
And on top of that, I got a free game on the ski-ball bonus 18th hole. Fuck yeah!

Up! is amazing. I cried easily over a dozen times. It's the best movie Pixar has made yet, which is hard to believe, considering they made Wall-E and Finding Nemo. But Up! really is better than those movies. Every scene is meaningful. Every gesture is meaningful. The opening montage that sets up the impetus for the story has zero dialogue, and it made me cry....

Went to my first improv practice last night. Did very well. Apparently I have good instincts. Tim, who's my best friend and who does improv on stage with the group, said that it probably won't be long before I'm on stage, too. I stayed after practice and helped with the lights.
I have to say, it's exciting.
