well, as of last night i have a new bowling related tattoo, and it is awesome. i had kind of a long wait beforehand, which worked out fine since i was able to go next door and put down a few cold ones. as for after that, fuck it, it's just a handle. i'm allowed to fly off it if i want to.
not much today. a couple cats came over to watch the games, which gave me an excuse to clean up my place some when i got up. it was pretty much a disaster area. i imagine there are many like me, in that i like a clean place, but rarely have one. it always gets a little worse and worse slowly, and then once the place is totally styed out, it's hard to find any motivation to tackle it as it seems insurmountable. but today, today i found the strength.
informal meridian room bowling tournament tomorrow! should be a good time. i'm thinking the tourney nature of tomorrow's session will produce more participants than usual, but i'm not sure who all is going. my friend bill and i hit the lanes on friday during our lunch break and took way too long. rad. activities of this kind are extremely satisfying when they occur on work's dime.
so tomorrow i'm gonna try to rip it. wish me luck.

so yesterday was my birthday. my friend, i had the coolest, bestest day yesterday. i'm so old. i'm 32 now. shit. but i had the best bday since i was 25 (that was a keg and tank o nitrous). its sunday morning. i'm still drunk. my poor liver, the champ she is. so many people came out last night to celebrate with me, i had offers of shots ALL NIGHT LONG. and of some of these i did partake, many shots were actually denied. my tailbone is mysteriously bruised but my brother (who was the dd but drank and apparently was pulled over on the drive home eep) tells me i ate shit in the bathroom when we got home. it was definitely a wake up fully clothed evening. someone had even thoughtfully placed the garbage can from the kitchen right next to my bed. just. in. case. but unused. and my norwegian friend s who came down last night also from the big city made a scandalous hookup last night and has not made her way home yet. haha.
you always rip it, brother. what are the details of said tattoo? give it up. photo?
