i managed to score a pumpkin pie on the way out of work tonight and gave it to my friend at the record store. i looked at it in the front seat when i was getting out of my car and decided he would probably want it. food gifts can be an iffy kind of thing, but this was a no brainer. he was stoked. the inhouse cd tonight was the one and only bill hicks.

an image search for pumpkin pie produced many things, including this picture of a dog show. the top part of the sign there says "winners bitch"
so no pie pic, dog show took over. i imagine i enjoyed that more than you will, but it's going up anyway.

my original point was going to be that i bought the movie scratch. it's great like the dogtown movie in that, even if someone's not really interested in the subject matter, they'd probably still like it, and learn something new. i'm no advice columnist, but i'd suggest to anyone around it's worth it to see or buy these 2 movies. i was lucky enough to see em on the big screen, so if you didn't, don't cheat yourself twice.
