today, a lady who got fired last week wanted some of her data back. i got this task. all the old shit on one cd. a newer file was too big for one disc without a lot of work, so they tell me to just give her the one and say it was all there. like, "well...here ya go."

if she noticed and called back, they'd mail her the other cd later. the HR lady, who gets paid to deal with people, agreed and then asked this guy to go through the lobby where fired lady was, get her horse and drive it around back so she could sneak out.

before that manifested, fired lady came in the office, HR lady cut out the front, and the girl who decided to cover her told fired lady that she'd missed HR lady and no one could stop her on the way out because she was on the phone waving off any conversation. that's the story they rolled with.
