I would agree with that. Seems like a lot of women's paintings have to be justified as "oh, she got raped," or "oh, she committed suicide" or something like that, to show that the woman couldn't have been doing it for art's sake, but for therapy. They make it personal, whereas men's art isn't necessarily personal. I guess that could be because men have no feelings.
