alright then...lets see....
firstly, the fraud thing has reached a near conclusion. I wrote them a letter being sarcastic but honest and co-operative, and now they have contacted me in reply. Unfortunately after taking my suggestions, they still find themselves with documents to support the other guy, and none to support me, so responsibility falls on my head. Fortunately, thier tone has changed from "prosecution, fraud, penalty" to "arrange debt repayment plan"...sooo, I suppose all is as well as can be expected there.
As for the artwork... I am having photoshoots semi regularly with a fantastic model I've met here, and I do mean "here". Kaffeine. She is into the work and understands it, and is beyond co-operative, supportive and helpful. New work based on said shoots has commenced, and it is going well.
I heard from the agent back home last week too, and there is a show lined up for me in October. Gonna have to contact Canada Council for an emergency travel grant to get home for the opening...
In other news...today I go computer shopping thanks to a couple of ever so generous individuals giving me a new computer budget as a birthday gift. Finally, I will have an up to date piece of technology....BOOYAH!
I intend to end the evening like Bob Marley as I labour by candle light, in the wee hours, over this years income tax papers, hoping desperately that they are not too different than the ones I have become accustomed to at home...
Ahhh yes, Moving time is creeping up soon too. Our lease ends in June, we recieved a notice, and I am thinking about what will come next...
