Helped Todd build his new music space, right before the first show. Wanted to see all the bands, but too drained from preparing everything, so we cut out early. Big A little a . .. . . next time.
Strangest part of the construction was the toilet they built -- from scratch -- set up on a platform like a throne, with industrial trash bags for curtains -- right next to the stage, so going to pee (and coming back out) became part of the performance, maybe the best part.

Later that night, the Arctic tundra wind gave me hiccups.
In the cab home, I noticed these splats on the window from frozen ice puddles, and they made crazy patterns. I stared at them. They were contagious. I too am now crazy. Crazi*er*.
Todd, man, you did it. From scratch. That space is gonna be a mob scene by springtime. It's got that thing . . . addictive quality. Beauty.
