In my ongoing search for the world's best burlesque dancers... I have come across this wonderful performer.

CREAMY STEVENS dances with the Starshine Burlesque every Thursday night at a club called Rififi (1st Ave, 11th St, NYC).

She also dances from time to time at The Slipper Room. Her go-go dancing is simply incredible and her strip-tease choreography is other-worldly. Last week I saw Creamy Stevens perform - and she jumped inside a giant balloon! Then she started stripping... there was a pump cranking air into the giant balloon - so it got larger and larger... then just as Creamy Stevens was alsmost entirely nekid... the balloon burst!!

The best news of all is that Creamy Stevens will be performing with Ixion in 2005!

frown Forgive me, I'm such a horrible friend. I'm sorry I missed Monday's show. But I haven't left the house since last Friday, not even to go to work or to see a doctor. If I'm feeling healthy by Friday, I'll try and make it to the Slipper Room.

*le sigh* I'm so sorry.
