Saturday (6/26) was the Coney Island Mermaid Parade...
This photo of MOLLY who marched as one of the "Gulls Of Ixion Burlesque" pretty much says it all... an amazing time was had by all!!!!!

Also at the parade I was very happy that IRINA came up and introduced herself... she is so cute, and I must say the photos she has up on her page at the moment do not do her justice!! She looked hot with her 'SG-style' gray-duct-tape pasties!

WELCOME TO THE THIRD INSTALLMENT OF:
IXION's LIMBO GIRL OF THE WEEK!! This week Ixion features: ** OCTOBER **
Around 600 BC Sappho noted the following:
Dead you shall lie, for ever, a name that none recall;
For never you gathered roses upon the Muses' tree.
Dim as you were in living, there too in Hades' hall
You shall drift where only phantoms faint and fogotten flee.
This quote from Sappho (an ancient portrayal of 'Limbo') hardly refers to OCTOBER though! How could it, she gathers roses and consorts with her fellow Muses every day. But Saphho's warning does apply, sadly, to almost everybody else.
Here are the basic criteria required to be considered as Ixion's Limbo Girl of The Week.
1. Professionalism. Overall: journals, friends, responses, photos, classiness of presentation.
2. Photos. Frankly, we are tired of waiting around for 'sets to go up' - its high time more Limbo Girls become proactive!
3. Character. OCTOBER is so kind and gentle, I truly believe that, given the opportunity, she would have made Mother Teresa blush.
4. Beauty.
Now I am fully aware of the fact that OCTOBER is already an SG superstar. As I told her, she hardly needs Ixion's SG page for promotion. Yet, no matter how I crunch the numbers, lovely OCTOBER comes out the clear and appropriate choice. In fact, if all the Limbo Girls could somehow emulate OCTOBER - then it wouldn't be LIMBO at all - it would be HEAVEN.
And so.... with giddy delight.... and the pride of knowing that these photos are SG World Premiers...

i actually would love to - but i live in Wisconsin lol there's no way i could make it to NYC. I've never even been there! lol thank you so much for the compliments and the offer though!
