I'm so fuckign angry that Suffolk Police want to be seen to be making a stand against gun crime and show that it in't tollerated, and how are they going about it? They are applie-ing to magistrates to get Zest Nightclub permanently closed down.
There was a shooting and a pair of stabbings there on friday night. I'd like to state that this had nothing to do with the club itself but the genral 'gang culture' that twats have imported from the US, that seems to be infesting our society.
Everyone involved in the incident was from the London area and came down for some kind of event that night. So what purpose does closing the club actually serve, as these people weren't even from the area? It wont stop violence and crime, just move it elsewhere! What are they going to do, shut every club? So it's all on the streets! Great, there's no Wayne the bouncer walking around my neighbourhood, how safe will that all make us?
Zest is one of the safest and most incident free clubs in the area. Some bad things have happened there yes, but no more than anywhere else. More often than not, said terrible things have only happened when fuckers from Brixton came down, or else, and this isn't me being predjiduce, on Chav nights. Even that doesn't involve weapons, just fists. I'm not saying there aren't guns in the Switch, as today a bunch of guys in Kesgrave where arrested for waving guns at police. I ask you, get some education, this isn't GTA. You thought you could do that in a run of the mill town and not get arrested...!
I've gone off track. If they close Zest, it just forces everyone to go to less reputible places for people to put themselves at risk of alchahol related incidents. Isn't it better for them to do it at somewhere relativly controlled and safe.

I;m just upset because thanks to this incident completely unrelated to my comunity we are being deprived of a vital asset to our young people. And my fucking monday nights rock!
