Yesterday I went to the London MCM expo.
Firstly, I ordered this cute little dress to where to it, as I was cosplay-in it as a Persocon, but it never came, and instead I got a customs bill. Which fucking sucks, cause I order from the same place all the time and never get bloody import tax!
Fuck sake!!
Grrrr!
So I had to make a costume at the last second. I ended up wearing 5 layers. The convention centre was packed and food and drink was expensive, so I got very hot and dehydrated and in genral felt rather sick and faint all day. Arg!
On the other hand, the moment I got there, I laid eyes on an actual Book of Clow. It was the last one! Now I own my very own set of Clow Cards. I've just fullfilled my 12 year old self's dream.
I bought Eddie a life size talking Sumomo! She is so cute! XD Also picked up a load of cheap trading cards and completed sets I've had for years. Bought some random TNBC toys and pins, a mini Squall and Laguna figures, and... I think that was it. I spent so much money, and bought so little. I really wanted a Vincent from Advent Children figure, but they didn' have him. The other thing I'd ment to buy was some KHII jewelry, but it was sooo expensive.
All the cosplayer's where so pretty, and in genral it was soo much fun.
Oh yeah, went to the Hot Fuzz Q&A, and thanks to some really lucky accidental pushing-in, I was like, number 5 in the queue at the signing. I'm in love with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. The're idle small talk was impresive. They loved my paper machete ears. lol.
My legs hurt so much. Funny looks on the train where fun too.
