This place sucks. I've been here for over a year, I've tried it. It sucks. It's one huge city here, so there's theoretically always something to do. The problem is that everything is so fucking far away and there's shit for public transport.

Los Angeles has character and style. The OC does not. It's so very bland. I think part of it is that there is no real "downtown". Every other city I've been in has a downtown where people walk everywhere and go about there day and relax at the park and drink coffee. The only downtown OC has is Los Angeles. I think that's a big part of what I miss. I really don't want to drive for an hour for that.

Also, the weather is always exactly the fucking same. It drives me insane! I feel one single rain drop a couple days ago. It's the first one I've seen in several months. I can't remember the last time it rained. I love the days where I can see a couple clouds in the sky; or even better, when it's completely overcast. How wonderful it is not to see a perfectly blue sky for a change.

I'm not planning on moving. I still love my job and I don't want to leave it. It's also very stable right now. I'm just bitching about it.
