I got this e-mail from the lady who interviewed me the other day for the teacher postion. In order for my hours to work and for me to do school I will have to begin as a sub. I was expecting that- so no surprise there. But if i get the job i can do more later if i'd like....

"Thanks for emailing me Lauren. After speaking with *****, we are both
very interested in having you do some substitute work for us. We will
begin checking your references and then give you a call. "

sounds promising...i'm crossing my fingers...i really really need a job...does that sound like a yes? would she say that if she didn't want to hire me? anyways- my references will be sooo good that it will help me get the job if i haven't already.
