haha. yes it is addictive. especially the groups because you can post topics about what you want to talk about ect...that's the biggest thing for me. I could be on SG for HOURS. even when I should be working or whatnot.

sorry to hear about your brother. From my own experience as a messed up teenager, run away on drugs and skipping school all i can say is, don't push to hard. From my days as a youth counselor and hearing all of the crazy shit these kids are doing and thinking...i would say, don't push to hard.
The age is a huge factor. It is almost the norm these days for fifteen year olds to act out in this way. The good thing is he has you. He knows he has you or he wouldn't have called. Being freaked out for him is O.K. I hope that everything turns out. Tough times.

Sounds like a bad situation with your landlord. I would tell you to demand he fix your apartment or else you won't drive his minions around. But you have to live somewhere. I hope you get the job. And aren't contracts void if both parties don't live up to their end of the deal?

Quentin Tarantino doesn't make movies geared towards masses. Just excelent, over the top movies. So awesome, and w/ so much (radically) different character, it appeals to that many more people. Hell, do you think that 1/2 of the people who "liked" Pulp Fiction, really get the details that make that movie so great?

I adore Tarantino. He is a huge inspiration to me...
