Last night was a good time. Dinner with a totally eclectic group. My friend runs a book company in LA that has done some amazing books on African poster art, celebrity photos, etc. She got together a group of weirdos (me included) for dinner. Writers, editors, graphic designers, conractors, dog walkers, costume designrs and the like for a dinner of middle eastern food and drinks. Good conversation actually and nice to break out of the music industry ghetto. Another question about the new White Stripes record and I might just go postal.

I actually came home, drank scotch, snoked an old cigar and watched BIRDY with Nicholas Cage and Matthew Modine. I saw this movie a LONG time ago and it is still really good. Alan Parker directed. It was time for bed when FOUL PLAY came on TV.
