a great man died today. John Peel, one of the best DJ's to ever grace this planet. He did so much to promote good music, and make sure that listeners didnt have to listen to the same turgid shit day in and day out. Im sure there are many punk and reggae bands that owe their careers to john, and they feel just as sad i as do. i think ill wear black tomorrow.

I bought the new social distortion album yesterday, it is so good, its good to see the veterans showing these new kids how its done.

check out 'do me bad things' they are a soul/pop/metal fusion band who sound el terrible from my description but are in fact soooooooooo good its scary. they dress like history teachers too.
