"Its been a while" as those shite-rockers Nickelback once sang.
Id like to say that loads has happened but id be a liar a filthy liar (why do i always type 'lair' several times before my brain remembers i wanted to type 'liar'?)
So ill do it bite-size chunks for easy consumption.

Started reading this. I love Russell Brand he is quite possibly the perfect comedian made for my tastes, self-deprecating, cynical and with the vocabulary of a victorian dandy. I loves him. I dont have the success with women he has unfortunately. Or the drug-addled past.
This book is refreshingly honest for a autobiography usually its just a case of "Nothing bad to me happened ever" and they only put in the stuff where they sound great.
Russell leaves in everything. And with hindsight can reflect on where he might have gone wrong.
Which only makes me love him more.

  • I got really ill on saturday morning, when i woke up feeling like someone was punching me in the head all night. Maybe the tooth fairy was angered by the fact she got the wrong address.

  • Tis grew worse until i was not eating solids for a few days, and suffering constant headaches. Well I lost a bit of weight at least.

  • Went to Birmingham for a meeting with work. After arriving at the station and managing to dive on the train just as it pulled away, i decided to look at the map i had been provided to guide me to the venue. Little did i know that Birmingham has adopted a 'no street signs' policy. The tagline for the city should be 'if you aint local you aint welcome'.

  • Why do cafe bars insist on using goats cheese on everything?

  • I might be in London for a few days very soon.

It was payday yesterday so i bought these:

I really should start my xmas shopping soon.
Internet shopping provides comfort and ease of use.
But i love the romanticism of xmas shopping despite the fact we have all just become obsessed with the gift-giving side of the occassion, i love how the air is filled with the expectation of children, the practically of mums, wives and girlfriends who have seen this all before and come with a list and the frantic rush buying of the dads, husbands and boyfriends who ask the girl at the till "can she bring it back in case she doesnt like it" knowing full well she will because its the wrong size and an awful colour, and the guy was too embarrassed to ask a shop assistant for help, as he felt he would be judged by a complete stranger who if he did ask for help would be sorted out, but ironically now means he will see the assistant again when he comes in with his other half to return the product. And his lady and the till girl have a little joke about his ineptitude at buying gifts and he ends up resenting everyone because of it.

Ill leave you with one of my favourite tracks of the moment and one of my favourite christmas songs...

ikaruga:
worse still is that virtually every vegetarian 'option' in aforementioned cafe/bars has goat's cheese in it...
that, and Doplex is right.

Doplex is NOT right. Why just last Saturday I had a very nice Italian dish involving goats cheese.

I must say I expected you to say you hated Russell Brand.

I think that in Birmingham, especially for example around New Street / Victoria Square, the streets merge into each other so much / are otherwise so confusingly laid out that street signs wouldn't help. But didn't you think the German market was nice?
