So it's Tuesday morning and I'm back in the office. Lots of strange stuff in Itburns Land lately, most of it not suitable for posting. Here's a recap of the last few days:
Friday-Sunday: Drove back to Detroit for a family weekend. It wasn't as bad as usual, I assume this is because all of the grand children were there and I could stay off the radar. I took 4 of the kids to a water park and bought them I-Pod Minis, so my most favored uncle status is insured.
Monday: Met with Cat and her husband to hash out some legal stuff before the cancer treatments really kick into gear. It sucked but I felt good in that I could at least help with this part of it. It sucks to be on the sidelines. Please check her journal and watch mine for future ways you can help too.
Monday night Girl303 called to see if I wanted to meet her Mrsfishwinger,Spiked and LadyK for some beers and conversation. It was just what I needed and thanks to all who were there.
This week: I am being kidnapped by Lawyer Boy on Thursday morning. He is forcing me to go to PineHurst N.C. and golf all day Thursdat, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. God knows Itburns is not a golfing yuppie, so we'll blame Lawyer Boy for this one.
That's about it. I'm doing paper work and listening to Bloc Party while I decide what to have for lunch. Exciting.
