Gloucester, VA was a wonderful place to spend two days and, hopefully, never return. After 4 hours of I-Pod filled air port delay, I'm home. HOPEFULLY for the rest of the week but I may be flying out again Thursday night.
For the very first time ever I will make apost involving something in my personal life and ask advice. One of my three sisters got married in August to a guy my parents aren't too keen on, and because of this (and b/c she's 39 and lived with another guy for 15 years and squandered a ton of their $$$ on blow for many years) they did not pay for the wedding. I also think the guy is a dick, but it's not for me to say. So when my sister asked me to help pay for the wedding I agreed and paid for a large chunk of it.
Fast forward to yesterday when she called me and said "guess where I am? I'm driving off the Audi lot in a new car." When I asked how she could swing this she said she had a bunch of money left from her wedding because "it didn't cost me as much as I thought it would." No shit, that's because it cost ME more than I thought it would.
So here is the question: should I be pissed about this or let it go??
Also: What's anyone listening to today? I have the Garden State soundtrack spinning.

Now that that's said. Money + family always equals some kind of weirdness. I can't offer much in the way of advice - I just paid an inordinate amount of money to keep my sister from getting evicted from her apartment (she hadn't paid her rent in over 3 months), which I would never have done for anyone else. Maybe you should just try to take solace in the fact that you did an incredibly nice thing. Or, failing that, you could just liberate her new Audi. I hear those are nice cars.
