Not much going on in Itburns world today. Work, work, work. Did buy far too many CDs at Virgin Store, but that's another story.

Nothing exciting in my life but tomorrow night at the Highrisk Gallery on 1113 W. Belmont claremarie has a gallery show from 7-9. Look under her profile, she has some great stuff. Check it out if you're in Chicago.

I will be there myself. I'm the tall one with brown hair.

Lemme put it this way (and please note that this is being said not in a mean way but in a claremarie way smile ): before I was dating my boyfriend, he came to my house under the pretense that he was "interested in my paintings" and might be in the market to buy one. I mentioned that two of them weren't for sale--Crimson Orb and Goldfish (the first one). He thought about this for a moment and said "What if someone offered you $6000 for one for them?"

In the end he got a pretty good deal. Now we live together and the painting is up in our bedroom.

That's odd about your avatar, then...I doubt anyone else has it, and I wouldn't have seen it on Shicawgo's page since she has so many friends. Maybe in the hookup section, now that they're doing that thing where local people pop up randomly?
