It's that time once again. My performance evaluation is tomorrow at 10. They only need to find enough fault with me to dick me out of the high-end potential of my raise.

I'll finally be consigning this piece of garbage computer to the dumpster soon. I'm not exactly trading up, however. Call it trading laterally. I'm getting a hand-me-down with less issues.

I just saw Quentin Tarantino's self-indulgent spankfest, Kill Bill. I liked it well enough, but one thing I will say that I'm sure nobody can argue with is that nobody loved that movie as much as QT. I can hear him saying it, "Oh...my...Christ! ThisisthecoolestfuckinmovieI'veeverseen!"

After going back and forth over it, it looks as if I may stay on staff at Game Monkeys. The tedium of writing reviews coupled with the fact that if I want to review anything GOOD I'm going to buy it myself began to really wear on me. And really, I've never been all that good at meeting deadlines anyway.

I came to the decision that I really have to concentrate on my own writing instead of commenting on other people's. With that in mind, I've decided to take a less prominent role on the site. I might help with the editing a little bit. Occasionally I'll contribute a review whenever the mood strikes me. I can't bring myself to quit altogether.

It looks as though I'll be attending the E3 convention. Eat your heart out, gamer nerds! And to add some salt to your wounds, I still don't like video games.

I can't wait for later this month when this comes out. You may call me a dork now.

I'm in a quandry over whether to watch Tomb of Ligeia or House of 1000 Corpses right now. Decisions, decisions.
