i'm pleasantly surprised to find that there are more than a few nice people around. thanks to everyone who has sent me such kind messages - i appreciate it.

ok: today.

taking a day to r e l a x ! after this past month of work i deserve it. just playing with my website, watching movies ('the ruling class right now' - go peter o'toole! it's a travesty that he only ever got an honorary oscar. he deserves truckloads of the damned things!), and getting a ridiculously small amount of cleaning done. nice as it is to be a vegetable for a day, i need to rouse soon and start getting pretty - tonight's a night on the town. i'm going out with a few friends to gorge ourselves on REALLY expensive food and liquor (the place we're going is rumoured to have 70+ types of tequila) at a pricey mexican restaurant. can't remember the name but it comes highly recommended. after we put on a few pounds (well, counsidering MY ridiculously high metabolism, i won't gain an ounce - hah!) we're going dancing. we'll see where that ends up. sloppy and drunk in some gutter in wicker park, most likely...

i still need new year's plans, tho. i was gonna go out to nyc, but plans fell through. so that'll make it something in chi-town - anyone have any ideas? the wilder the better.

and may i say: GO DAVID BOWIE! he turned down that honorary (and completely pointless) knighthood, saying that he had no intention of ever accepting it, seeing as he has no earthly idea what it's for. ha! what a wonderful, snarky bitch he is.
