isolation

I want to get away. i want to be free and on my own. i want to travel the world and see everything. but im tied here and have no money to do any of that. im stuck and have to obey the system and work. are humans ment to just work our entire lives then have only a few years to ourselves to do whatever we want. i hate dreaming of vacation a year in advance and when it finally comes it goes by so quick its like you never had one. or maybe im the only one that feels this way and people are happy working.

under my skin there is a frown
barbed wire hand try to hold me down
bring it back down, i dont want to be sucked in just from hanging around
the lies you breathe and what we feed
are forced through here to live that life
smoke in the eyes blinded your sight
ask yourself if you want to see the light in time
