So what are your thoughts on the bests ways to take care of a tattoo? One of my friends say put preparation H on it for a 3-5 days and lightly splash water on it to clean it. Another says scrub it and keep lotion on it. Any helpful tips that worked for you?

i'm getting my first tattoo soon. i've always liked them but never really wanted one until recently. i've been having dreams here and there seeing myself getting one and after that i realized i need to get one.
