My friend called me crying the other night, she's going through a hard time just now.
She's Thai and was adopted at a pretty young age. Yesterday we met up and talked about it in depth, I think it was the first time she's really talked about it to someone outwith her family, this in itself was an honour.
She wants to meet them now and I said I'd help her, even if it means going to Thailand.
I don't know why I'm writing this here, I guess I just needed to write it somewhere where not a lot of people know me.
I guess I really like the feeling when someone feels like they trust you enough to tell you stuff like that.
What I don't understand is why helping friends is something that seems so strange to people, since when was doing something nice for someone you care about some sort of miracle?
